Helsinki International Ballet Competition

The 10th Helsinki International Ballet Competition (HIBC), 28 May – 5 June 2026, hosted by the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. The HIBC brings together young classical and contemporary dancers from around the world for three rounds of competition culminating in a Gala on 5 June. Jury president: Javier Torres, Artistic Director of the Finnish National Ballet. Applications run 1 November 2025 – 31 January 2026; selected competitors are notified by 15 February 2026. Partners may accompany competitors with no age restriction.
