Zikr Dance Ensemble
Denver's Zikr Dance Ensemble offers a spectrum of works that pay homage to the transcendent nature of dance as employed by many different world cultures throughout history. Along with original and contemporary dance/theatre realizations based on metaphysical concepts that includes original music, breathtaking costumes and stunning slide and graphic digital projections and special effects, Zikr Dance Ensemble also showcases the work of internationally acclaimed choreographers. For the upcoming 2025 Fall Season, Zikr is excited and honored to present the Colorado premiere of internationally acclaimed Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s stunning “In Memoriam” pas de deux.
