The PTP Summer Intensive ‘25 will be offered August 11 - 29 by audition only with one week, two week and three week options culminating with an end of summer performance. The Intensive is aimed at gifted dancers ages seven to eighteen (Grades 2-12) who are interested in pursuing professional training. These intensives act not only as a way for dancers to immerse themselves in their passion, but also as an opportunity to audition and be assessed for the upcoming ’25/’26 season.

Dancers will explore, research, and collaborate with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Company Dancers and Leadership. In addition to the creative process, dancers will attend one morning and one afternoon technique class taught by Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Jonathan Alsberry, Craig D. Black Jr., current HSDC company members, and local professionals. The program curriculum will include Ballet, Contemporary, Horton, Modern, Jazz, Improv, Floorwork, and Hip Hop.

The Joffrey's Academy's annual summer intensive programs welcome hundreds of students from around the country and the world for an elite training experience and a summer experience in the city of Chicago. Admission into the Joffrey Academy Summer Intensives is by audition only. Summer Intensive auditions are open to all students ages 7 to 22. Students will be immersed in dance with classes six to eight hours per day, six days per week, learning from our world-class instructors, including Houston Ballet Academy artistic staff and Houston Ballet Company dancers. LEVEL 5-8 (AGES 12+) June 21 - July 25, 2025 In-person & video audition  To be considered for Summer 2025, video submissions will be accepted January 13 - February 7, 2025.

The Classical Ballet Intensive is a four-week intensive from June 23–July 20, 2024. The Classical Ballet Intensive focuses on cross-disciplinary dance training and fits the needs of serious dance artists at any point in their training. Under the instruction of the renowned School of Dance faculty and distinguished guest artists, students will develop their technical foundation and hone their artistic skills.

The Nutcracker will be performed at Symphony Hall with the Phoenix Symphony. Rehearsals for the Youth Cast are broken down by character on Saturdays starting September 16th and run through December 2nd, with the exception of: October 14, November 18 & 25th. Tech rehearsals are Wednesday, December 6, Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8. Before the Audition: Students auditioning for The Nutcracker must fill out the registration form prior to your arrival and turn it in on the day of the audition. At the Audition: Registration begins one hour prior to scheduled audition time and students should finish their registration 30 minutes prior to their audition time. Registration fee: $15 for non-SBAZ students, free for SBAZ and ASA students. Audition times: 9:30 am – 10:00 am ALL Boys (ages 9-18, or SBAZ Level 2 and up) 10:00 am – 10:45 am SBAZ Level 2-4/ASA Grade 5 & 6 10:45 am – 11:30 am SBAZ Level 5-6/ASA Grade 7 & 8 11:30 am – 12:00 pm SBAZ Level PPP & up/ASA High School 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm Open audition Girls (ages 9-12) 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm Open audition Girls (ages 13-18) All auditioning must attend the audition for their age group and should be available to stay additional time on the day of the auditions. June 23 - July 25 Miami City Ballet School offers an intensive five-week training program geared towards serious ballet students ages 12 and up who have a passion for dance and are ready to achieve a new level of artistic excellence. Our dance training pedagogy is truly distinctive to MCBS, retaining traditional methods of classical ballet while integrating the dynamic and technical aesthetic of the Balanchine style. Welcome to the Youth America Grand Prix 2024 competition season – and the YGP 2024 semi- final in Spain. The competition will take place in Sant Cugat, an affluent suburb of Barcelona, located a 25-minute train ride or 30 minute drive (26 kilometers) to the beautiful Barcelona city center. All of the classes will be conveniently located in Sant Cugat, on the premises. Great prices for hotels and restaurants in the area and a picturesque area of the country make this a desirable location on the YGP International Tour. The competition will take place at the Teatre-Auditori Sant Cugat. The YGP Barcelona Semi-Final is run in the similar structure as the New York City Finals - with a Final Round, and scholarship classes held throughout the weekend. As a result, a substantial amount of scholarships are awarded at this semi-final. Registration begins 1.5 hours before your Competition Time. Please note this schedule is Tentative and Subject to Change. The first draft of the Timeline will be posted 5 - 6 weeks before the Event. Alberta Ballet School offers a Summer Intensive designed to enhance your technique and artistry under the guidance of our esteemed faculty. Over the course of this program, dance students will train 30 hours a week in ballet, pointe, contemporary, and more, with mentorship from Alberta Ballet School's esteemed faculty. Teen Ballet classes offer foundational ballet training to students ages 11 to 18 who are new to ballet or are returning after some time away. This class is also appropriate for students who wish to continue their training with a less intense weekly commitment. Students in this level may be invited to take pointe class if appropriate. Teen Ballet classes meet two times per week from September 5 – May 24. Tuition $2,515.00 Tuesday 7:30-9:00pm – Technique Thursday 6:30-8:00pm – Technique Thursday 8:00-9:00pm – Jazz

To propel a dancer’s training through various disciplines, creative thinking, and risk-taking. Our program encourages artistic growth by building relationships with dancers interested in connecting with and learning about Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Dancers will be pushed outside of their artistic bounds, allowing for progression and advancement in their training.
