The 10th Helsinki International Ballet Competition will be held at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet from 27 May to 5 June 2026. The online application for HIBC 2026 is open from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 2026. Applicants for the competition are required to submit a video recording and a photo. The selection will be primarily conducted by video auditioning. Selected participants will be announced by 15 February 2026.

Develop your technique and artistry with the official school of Atlanta Ballet, the longest-running professional dance company in the United States. Interested dancers ages 11 and up are invited to audition for admission to the Atlanta Ballet Summer Intensive Programs. All advanced intensive and professional program classes are held at the Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre. Intensives are for students ages 11 and up (as of June 23, 2025)

AGES 10-20, by audition only. Female identifying students must be on pointe. Students ages 10-12 who are not en pointe and attending a summer intensive audition at a location other than Colorado Ballet will be considered for our Young Dancer Workshop. Eligible students participating in our Summer Intensive have the opportunity to be considered for Colorado Ballet Academy’s Pre-Professional Division and Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company.

Admission to School of Nashville Ballet Summer Intensive is by audition only. Dancers ages 12 and up are invited to audition. Younger students ages 9 to 13 are invited to attend Junior Intensive. The curriculum will include floor barre, pilates, conditioning, technique, pointe, grand allegro, partnering, contemporary ballet, variations, improv, character, and more!

The National Ballet of Canada’s Summer Dance Intensive offers young dance students the opportunity to learn from professional dancers and other guest artists. From ballet and classical repertoire to contemporary, hip hop and more, your young dancers will experience a full and extensive range of movement training with supportive and inspiring instructors. In Studio offers Junior and Senior Level Summer Dance Intensives

Pre-professionals and professionals may be considered for our Professional Intensive. Acceptance into this program is by invitation only from the Centre Dean or Artistic Director. This program provides the dancer with an opportunity to train as a company professional and is focused on building repertoire and thorough training with master teachers to perfect technique. Dancers perform at the end of the five-week program and are considered candidates for the full-year Academy program and AB2.

This intensive program offers young dancers the opportunity to refine their technique in both classical and contemporary dance. This masterclass will be taught by Vladimir Malakhov and Iryna Tsymbal, among others. We will be happy to transmit our professional experience for a Pas de Deux Intensive! Anatole Blaineau: Working experience with Royal Swedish Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Opera of Bordeaux, Estonian National Ballet and Lithuanian National Ballet. Anthea van der Ham: Working experience with Estonian National Ballet and Balletto di Milano. They both had the chance to dance soloist roles and participate in galas where they could demonstrate their virtuosity. This Intensive is open to all level.

Dancers ages 10-21 years of age are encouraged to audition for one of the six summer intensive we will oversee in 2024. Registration to audition in a city near you, will open on November 1st. Ballet West Academy will also be accepting video auditions, although it comes at high recommendation to audition in person.

CBA’s Choreographic Workshop will give the students the opportunity to have a “Company Experience”. After training rigorously during the Summer Intensive, students participating in the Choreographic Workshop will learn two new works culminating in a premiere performance on July 19, 2025, in the Black Box Theater at Colorado Ballet’s Armstrong Center for Dance.

Intensive students will experience a significant improvement as they attend daily extended classes in ballet technique, pointe, and variations. They will also receive training in other dance forms, including jazz, modern, character, and contemporary, as well as specialized classes in Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and therapeutic conditioning, aimed at enhancing their strength, flexibility, extension, and turnout.

Summer Session is the second phase of the audition process for the RWB School’s three professional programs: Ballet Academic, Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant and Teacher Training Programs. Admission to Summer Session is by audition only. Students entering academic grade 6 and up in September 2023 are eligible to audition. No previous training is required for students aged 12 and under.

24 - 28 February This winter, Mosa Ballet School will open its doors to all dance enthusiasts aged 12 to 20. This intensive camp will be an opportunity to discover our brand new infrastructure and our high-level teaching staff, while preparing for the audition on Saturday, March 1st. Participants in this 5-day program will be fully immersed by being mixed with Mosa students for whom this intensive camp is mandatory. Each day will begin with a classical dance class, followed by 4 other classes.

Our Summer Intensive invites dancers (ages 10-19) to immerse themselves in The Royal Ballet School’s System of Training. Held at both White Lodge and Upper School, participants will receive exceptional coaching from our Artistic faculty and distinguished guest teachers. Students aged 10-19 years old on 31 August 2025 are eligible. All applicants must submit photographs as part of their application. Applications close 8 January 2025.

The Ailey School’s Professional Division Summer Intensive offers intermediate to advanced dancers an opportunity to train in-person in a vibrant professional environment centered in the heart of New York City’s Theater District.
